The Foreworld Saga is an alternate history epic that spans continents and centuries. It follows a secret order bound by honor to protect humankind.
At its most basic level, The Mongoliad is the story of a group of elite knights around the time of the Mongol invasion of Eastern Europe in the 13th century – set in 1241, a time after the death of Genghis Khan, when his successors were invading Europe and ruled over an empire that spanned the length of Asia.

However, conceived as a collaborative “open-source fantasy saga”, there are many independent plot lines that will stretch from the later classical era to the renaissance.
The Foreworld Saga consists of five novels and multiple “Side Quests” – stand-alone stories, novellas, or graphic novels that chronicle the heroes, villains, and adventures in The Foreworld Saga across numerous eras and ages.

Note: Because of the “shared universe” nature of the Foreworld, no definite reading order for the various Side Quests can be given (They can be read, quote: “in any order with or without prior knowledge of The Foreworld Saga”). This also means that you can skip the graphic novels – or the Side Quests all together – if you like.
The Saga is presented here in publication order and enumerated accordingly.
