    Publisher’s Summary
Genres: LitRPG / GameLit, Post-Apocalyptic, Adventure Fantasy

Discovering that the system responsible for raising my stats might actually be “aware” left me speechless. Literally, since I was temporarily hit with a “Stroke Ailment” to shut me up.

However, that just raised more questions and concerns, especially now that it was the clear this mysterious force wielded significantly more power over my life than I ever imagined.

And worse, things were only going to get more complicated.

New party members, more dangerous fights, and foreboding evolutions all threatened to upset the one goal I’d had since the very beginning – survive.

    Prologue

Savannah took a deep breath and let it out slowly, turning her head again to focus on the brilliant icy blue leaves blowing gently in the breeze.

“I hate this,” she commented, only to abruptly look up at me in alarm, as if she was afraid of being misunderstood. “I’m thankful that you saved me,” she clarified. “But I just hate this system thing, and the fact that it’s putting us in danger.”

“I know,” I replied simply. “I don’t like it much either. But we have to get stronger. You have to get stronger. Otherwise we might not be so lucky next time.” My tone became somber as I lowered my voice to a whisper. “It was a really close one. Too close.”

Savannah shivered at the too recent memory, pushing more into me, and thus, shoving my folded wings more against the frame, as she turned to look at the Foxfire Trees endlessly burning in the darkness in a heatless blaze.

Rise of the Night Stalkers 2 is a full-length novel.
