A. E. van Vogt Audio Collection
Here is one of the early influential SF writers. If you read Voyage of the Space Beagle you’ll see where the idea for Star Trek came from. I got into the author after listening to “The Monster” in The Oxford Book of Science Fiction Stories. I’m surprised that there isn’t more of his books in audio; the two Slan books are the only of his available for purchase in the medium. Luckily the libraries of the world have provided us with a few more.
I was working on this a few years ago but it got pushed to the wayside. As always, everything is broken into chapters and all the NLS rips are new.
Enjoy,

From Wikipedia:
Alfred Elton van Vogt (/væn voʊt/; April 26, 1912 – January 26, 2000) was a Canadian-born science fiction author. His fragmented, bizarre narrative style influenced later science fiction writers, notably Philip K. Dick. He was one of the most popular and influential practitioners of science fiction in the mid-twentieth century, the genre’s so-called Golden Age, and one of the most complex. The Science Fiction Writers of America named him their 14th Grand Master in 1995 (presented 1996).
